The Musée Régional de Fouras-les-Bains is housed in the heart of the town's most important historical and military building, the Fort Vauban keep.
The museum's 10 rooms tell the story of the town and its surroundings, following a thematic path: geology and archaeology, military history, seaside history, maritime history... An art collection and a documentary collection have also been developed.
Admission to the museum includes access to the dungeon terrace. Guided tour of the fortifications, from the underground room to the terrace.

From 01/06 to 15/09/2024
Opening hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 10 am and 12 pm and between 3 pm and 6.30 pm.
Closed exceptionally on July 14th.

Fort Vauban - Musée régional de Fouras

Discover Fort Vauban, a building with a long history, which has always watched over the Charente estuary.

Open exceptionally on 20/05.
