The ‘Classic Tour’: enter the heart of the Marais.
Aboard a 10-seater boat, adapted to navigate the narrowest canals, follow the Green Venice to the silent rhythm of a push with a pigouille or shovel.

The ‘Contemporary Visit’: observe the richness of the traditional habitat of the market garden and the typical landscapes restored since the storm of 1999.
Aboard the Grande Barque, a 12-seater boat, you can sail comfortably further into the marsh thanks to its electric assistance.

    People with reduced mobility can safely board some of our boats. With the kind help of our staff, visitors in wheelchairs can embark on a contemporary tour and enjoy the Marais Poitevin. Subject to booking.

  • Access by train

    The train journey from La Rochelle takes an average of 45 minutes to Niort. Connection to the Cardinaud pier is possible via the Tanlib line 22 bus (free of charge).

    ADVANTAGE INCLUDED in your La Rochelle Océan Pass: unlimited access to TER NOUVELLE-AQUITAINE trains between La Rochelle and Niort.
    In the application, press the ‘TER train transport’ button and then the button for your destination, i.e. La Rochelle < > Niort. Generate your ticket by pressing the ‘Press here to validate your TER train ticket when boarding’ button. Your e-ticket will appear: it is valid for 2 hours. For your return journey, generate a new ticket by repeating the previous operation.

Just 50 minutes from La Rochelle, on the island of La Repentie, the Cardinaud landing stage boasts an exceptional location. It is a private, wooded area at the entrance to the village of Coulon.
