Your guide will tell you all about the history of this building which, despite a terrible fire in 2013, still holds many treasures. Behind its high Gothic perimeter wall topped by a belfry tower, this emblematic building of the city conceals many memorabilia, including those relating to the seat of La Rochelle, such as the Salle des Echevins, the Salle des Fêtes and the Cabinet Jean Guiton with its legendary marble table.
