Visit to the Asinerie du Baudet du Poitou
On a self-guided tour of the Asinerie (approx. 45 mins), come and meet the donkeys and their Poitevin cousins, draught horses and mules, and take a look behind the scenes at the Asinerie's museum area and outdoor trail.
Located on the typical Saintonge farm of La Tillauderie, a bucolic spot on the edge of the forest and a stone's throw from the charming village of Dampierre-sur-Boutonne, the Asinerie opens its doors onto a 55-hectare protected natural area.

From 5 January to 6 February: Monday to Friday, by reservation.
From 7 February to 22 February: every day from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00.
From 23 February to 31 March: Monday to Friday, by appointment.
From 1 April to 30 September: every day from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (6.30 p.m. in July and August).
From 1 October to 16 October: Monday to Friday, by appointment.
From 17 October to 1 November: every day from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
From 2 November to 18 December: Monday to Friday, by appointment.
