Nature discovery at Domaine de Suzac - Parc de l'Estuaire
In a unique setting in Saint-Georges-de-Didonne, its site house, the Parc de l'Estuaire, faces the mouth of the Gironde estuary. Perched on a cliff and nestling in the Suzac coastal forest, this sensitive, protected natural area offers an original, fun and educational way to discover nature.
At the top of the watchtower, perched 55 m above the ocean, enjoy an exceptional 360° view of the estuary and forest.
On the walking trail, take in the new art exhibition and game ‘Moon watchers, on the trail of the nocturnal’. In the shelter of the Villa de l'Estuaire, discover the ‘Revivre, les espèces disparues’ exhibition, a unique video mapping experience and an area dedicated to the Cordouan lighthouse, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
